Jordan Village Progress Update: Building a Thriving Heart in Lincoln Ontario

As 2023 draws to a close, the Town of Lincoln is thrilled to share the latest developments on the Jordan Village Improvement Project. This ambitious initiative, aimed at revitalizing Main, Nineteenth, Twenty-First, Wismer, and King Streets, has seen remarkable progress since its commencement in Spring 2022.

Over the past year, construction has been in full swing, achieving significant milestones in transforming Jordan Village’s core areas. Main Street, the new Snure Lane, Nineteenth Street North of Snure Lane, Twenty-First Street, and Wismer Street now feature a new watermain, storm sewer, sanitary sewer, curbs, sidewalks, bicycle paths, parking bays, decorative street lighting, and streetscaping features.

As we enter the final phase, we express gratitude to our community and acknowledge the key contributors. The future of Jordan Village is promising, and we eagerly anticipate its positive impact.”

The Town extends sincere appreciation to residents and businesses for their patience and cooperation throughout this transformative project. Construction will continue until late December, pausing for winter and resuming the final stretch in April 2024. This phase includes Nineteenth Street’s southern reconstruction, King Street intersection signalization, and the construction of a new sidewalk on the south side of King Street, linking to St. John’s Drive.

As the Town celebrates the remarkable progress in 2023, all are invited to explore the renewed heart of Jordan Village during this holiday season.
